One of the best things to do in Jaipur!

A Model Organic Farm and Farmstay offering a walking tour of the farm, local village communities and school – only 30 minutes from Jaipur City – and a great meal included

Our farm is called “Ikaki Bagh” which means “one-of-a-kind orchard” in Hindi. Our traditional farm outside Jaipur has converted to full organic production.

Our mission is to provide fantastic tourist experiences of rural India. You can achieve this by taking one of our customised tours to our farm and local communities.

Using sustainable farm practices, we are creating a model for small and marginal farmers to emulate. Organic practices and a commitment to social uplift sits at the heart of everything we do.

Our model embraces supporting local people, village farmland and a government primary school. We do this through collaborative and mindful tourism.

You will be warmly welcomed and enjoy a special visit experience, and your time with us will directly support the community and our mission.

A Day with a Difference

Our vision

Our vision is to:

  • become an efficient and affordable model of environmentally sustainable organic farming that can be adopted by the local farming community
  • create a local education and training centre that focuses on organic farming
  • provide opportunities for the local village people, and a nearby primary school, to alleviate entrenched social disadvantage with a special focus on empowering girls and women
  • enable people to visit the project, stay on site at the farm, work as a volunteer, and develop social tourism.

India has a proud tradition of organic farming and living within Nature’s means. Ikaki Bagh is part of reclaiming this tradition.

  1. Steadily building organic farming practices sustainably, including improving fertility of soil and maximising the use of renewable resources
  2. Enhancing natural biological cycles in farming systems
  3. Moving from marginal to enriched practices
  4. Conserving energy, soil and water
  5. Recognizing livestock welfare needs
  6. Nurturing local community empowerment and fostering relations between city and country folk
  7. Generating employment for villagers, diversifying social and economic development and promoting local products
  8. Protecting and promoting traditions and cultural initiatives
  9. Developing social tourism

Customised Visits

Walking tours are a great way to get a taste of rural Indian life.

We provide guided, single day walking tours focusing on:

  • Socio cultural facets of Indian Village life
  • Organic farming and sustainable development of farms – Agri walks

Our tours will introduce you to “the other side of India”. You will experience village life first-hand, including interacting with local villagers and school children. This experience is nothing like tours that focus on religious sites, monuments and big city experiences.

Time with us will give you lifelong memories. You’ll leave a little piece of your heart with us!
