We have a small temple (place of worship) in the house where you can see and participate in the morning and evening Arti (prayers). We are secular and respect all religions, so you can be of any religion to pray with us.
We organize morning Yoga and meditation sessions for the guests on request where they can learn this ancient form of exercise to synchronize the mind, body, and soul.
To help our guests get a feel of Jaipur city and the neighboring cities we arrange for day trips and sightseeing tours. Feel free to write to us for any assistance in planning your trip.
As Ikaki Niwas is located in a premium neighborhood; people with good educational and lifestyle backgrounds visit the adjacent park. You might meet Indian Administrative Officers, Senior Doctors, Lawyers, etc., with whom a quick session of chat can provide meaningful insight into India. We can also call people from different walks of life to meet our guests on request.
Living with a family gives you a chance to experience and be part of all the festivals that we celebrate, be it kite flying in the month of January or playing with colors and painting each others’ faces red, blue, and yellow on “Holi” or lighting earthy lamps on Deepawali. When you stay with us, you celebrate each festival just as we do.
